The Practice:

The Aon Transaction Strategy practice delivers deep global expertise and solutions in HR business transactions (M&A, Divestitures, IPOs, Joint Ventures; including global benefits, compensation, employment, talent, organization design, culture due diligence & integration, workforce planning, etc.), HR risk assessments and other strategic projects to clients who are engaging in change events due to global transactions and/or business transformations. This role reports to the Transaction Strategy Leader, North America.

What a day will look like

The Partner will be based in the North America area and will be accountable for the overall strategic direction, operational effectiveness and financial profitability of large, complex solutions for clients. This partner will be a frontrunner in the consulting profession with advanced knowledge in multiple businesses and HR disciplines. We are looking for inspired leadership, content expertise, knowledge of Aon's core businesses and an innate desire to achieve growth goals.

The Partner will develop, nurture and maintain executive-level relationships and will quickly become a trusted partner and strategic advisor to many of Aon's most important clients. Partners at Aon have the capability and expertise to be a "first chair" on large, complex, multi-functional client assignments. This is also a hands-on role where you'll be able to take ownership, prioritize the work and get your hands dirty on a technical level.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Establish trusted relationships at the most senior levels
  • Demonstrate strong executive presence to lead large client-facing consulting engagements
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of complexities relative to large, global M&A transactions
  • Demonstrate deep experience and knowledge of Total Rewards and other sectors within the Human Capital space
  • Demonstrate an ability to sell $4M in services and solutions and maintain a billable rate of 40-50%.
  • Commercialize new ideas; bring thought leadership and knowledge on solutions that are repeatable with appropriate margins.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, Human Resources or other qualified disciplines.
  • Minimum 12 to 15+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Other project management certifications, SHRM certifications, CPA, Six Sigma certifications, etc. are helpful.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $ $250,000 - $300,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
