Your IMPACT Safely operate crane, workboat, and other equipment (forklift, skid steers, bobcat, etc.). Maintain fleet, equipment, and workboat vessel inspection logs. Safely operate work boat and apply USCG Rules of the Road navigation. Determine load weights and check against lifting capacities of crane/equipment to prevent overload. Inspect all equipment, crane mechanisms and lifting accessories before use to prevent malfunctions and damage. Communicate with Team Members through use of radio and hand signals. Serves as safety leader for worksite and coaches Team Members on best practices. Lead Team Members in the repair of barges. What we are looking for... You will need to have: 4 years' experience in barge repair 3 years' experience in crane operation Knowledge of OSHA Regulations, and ANSI Standards in crane safety/operations. Ability to obtain FCC Restricted Radio License. Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Willingness to work additional hours/weekends to meet deadlines. Credentials: Must be 18 years or older and able to complete a Health Questionnaire and pass a physical abilities test. Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Shipyard Competent Person Training Certificate (required) Availability: Ability to work a 4/10 Work Schedule (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Must be available for On-Call support.
