***This position is based in our SICK, Bloomington MN production facility. The person will work on site, Monday through Friday.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position has primary responsibility for the ensuring the efficient flow and execution of outbound orders through the warehouse. This position will report directly to the Manager of Logistics and Distribution and work closely with the warehouse supervisors and leads on both shifts to ensure operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and coordinate with Distribution Team, Receiving team and Systems/LTL (Less than Truckload) team on priorities and execution.
  • Track active orders to the floor in coordination with Supervisors and Leads.
  • Monitor and control pending open shipments to ensure execution.
  • Maintain distribution reports and metrics.
  • Coordinate with off-site facility on distribution replenishment.
  • Analyze and resolve delivery issues in a timely fashion.
  • Provide singular point of contact for communications for the Distribution Center.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity and customer service levels.
  • Manage/Complete assigned daily reports and communicate opportunities.
  • Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • College Education preferred.
  • 3-5 years of direct shipping, receiving, pick/pack, warehouse or production experience preferred.
  • Power Equipment (forklift, man-lifts, pallet jacks) experience required.
  • SAP EWM (Express Warehouse Management) experience preferred.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
  • Ability to keep track of and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to operate small packaging machinery.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet applications, Excel proficiency required.
  • Ability and willingness to work alternative schedules including weekend, and on-call hours as needed.
  • Legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work in a general manufacturing & warehouse environment.
