Annual Compensation: $75,000 to $85,000 DOE

The Project Manager for Military and Veteran Channels is responsible to facilitate GMR's program, which supports acquisition, development, engagement and transition of veterans into the organization. This person will work with and report to the Military Program Manager to interact with internal and external points of contact to build and maintain successful relationships, conduct recruiting efforts, attend events and deliver a best-in-class experience for transitioning military into GMR.

Responsibilities:

  • Support GMR's military and veteran recruitment efforts, following best practices and GMR process for transition programs including SkillBridge and TAPs.
  • Assist Program Manager in maintaining relationships with military and veteran organizations including the DoD and VA to support workforce transitioning efforts.
  • Assists employees with transition process in collaboration with the operations' training teams and hiring managers.
  • Supports military career outreach by attending career events, base events and other related industry partnership opportunities.
  • Proficiency in utilizing applicant tracking systems for ensuring accurate tracking and facilitating of recruitment processes, such as scheduling interviews, meetings, coordinating communications, and organizing documentation effectively.
  • Provide guidance and support to military candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Contribute to the development of diversity and inclusion initiatives to support a welcoming and inclusive environment for military personnel and veterans within the organization.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in business or human resources.
  • 3 or more years of project management within the Military.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with theability to present at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail with solid organizational, time management and coordination skills.
  • Experience assisting Military personnel and veterans with their transition into the civilian sector.
