For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $4,000sign on bonusfor Personal Support Specialists (PSS):

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time PSS position,per diem hires are ineligible.

Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

The Memory Care Unit is seeking a PSS to join the team!

Summary:

The Personal Support Specialist (PSS) - MCH role is responsible for providing excellent, resident-centered, personal care. This care includes assistance with showering/bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility. In addition, the PSS will help with meal service, laundry, housekeeping and other tasks as assigned.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. 2. License/Certifications: PSS certification required or must obtain within 90 days of start date. 3. Experience: Prior long-term care experience preferred. 4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Must be at least 18 years of age. 5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
