Position Summary This position offers an opportunity to be an integral member of a collaborative, high-performing team of staff. The R6/B2 NUS rotates between R6, a dynamic 26-bed neurosurgical / trauma unit, and Bean 2 (B2), a 12-bed Total Joint Center. This position provides clerical support to each unit, including but not limited to answering telephone calls, handling medical records, and responding to patient, family, and staff requests. R6/B2 offers a challenging yet rewarding environment where teamwork, excellent communication, a positive attitude, and proactivity are expected. This is a great opportunity for those with customer service experience looking to get into the healthcare field! Together, the compassionate Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, CNAs, and Nursing Unit Secretaries on R6/IMC/B2 work closely to support each other in meeting patients' needs and ensuring the highest standards of care are met. Come be part of this amazing team! Hours for this position may be flexible. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. 2. License/Certifications: Current BLS certification preferred or may be required based on location. 3. Experience: One year of hospital or health care setting preferred.
