Description

Telecare's mission is to deliver excellent and effective behavioral health services that engage individuals in recovering their health, hopes, and dreams. Telecare continues to advance cultural diversity, humility, equity, and inclusion at all levels of our organization by hiring mental health peers, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, veterans, and all belief systems.

The Court Collaborative Program provides mental health and substance use disorder services to adult participants in eight Alameda county treatment courts. This team supports participants with assessment and case management services. We link our participants with appropriate SUD and mental health services; support them with their treatment goals and maintain communication with the court team as related to their progress on these goals. The Court Collaborative Team leads collaborative court hearings and provides consultation and training as related to supporting our participants' treatment needs. We work in close collaboration with our many court partners including judges, attorneys, probation and parole officers, and representatives from the Veterans Administration and the Department of Children and Family Services. Our primary goal is to ensure that our participants have access to treatment in order to graduate from treatment court and successfully exit the criminal justice and/or DCFS systems.
