Join us as our Packaging Supervisor

This position works under general direction and is responsible for managing the production process and employees on assigned shift to maximize production results and meet Customer demand. This is a hands-on position that is heavily engaged in day-to-day production activities.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

• Driving safety culture and ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
• Scheduling and assigning personnel, and evaluating job performance.
• Mentoring employees and cultivating a positive work environment.
• Promoting continuous improvement and implementing standardized processes.
• Resolving employee issues and maintaining effective employee relations.
• Conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinating Preventative Maintenance and assessing equipment conditions.
• Training staff and enforcing GMP, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.

To succeed you must hold:

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to effectively and succinctly communicate in oral and written form to all levels (operator to executive) of the organization as well as outside contractors.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to make administrative, procedural or employment-related decisions in a dynamic environment.
• Possess working knowledge of continuous improvement principles and their application.
• Possess a working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs.
• May require domestic and/or international travel up to 10%.
• These characteristics are normally acquired through a Bachelors degree in a business or science discipline, and one to three years of supervisory experience.
