Clinical Research Manager for the Department of Medicine Research Program Manages/oversees team of Clinical Research Coordinators and Nurses. Responsible for day-to-day and annual performance management. Responsible for coordinating recruitment, training, staff development, and scheduling for CRC/Ns within research unit. * Tracks and monitors trial metrics for active studies such as screening, enrollment, and screen failures. Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare, science, or related field required. Master's degree in related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a clinical trial/research setting AND a master's degree in a related field OR Minimum of six (6) years of experience in a clinical trial/research setting AND a bachelor's degree in a related field required. Prior clinical trial and/or staff management experience preferred. Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Certification as a Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) preferred upon hire. Will be required to obtain a research certification within one (1) year of hire if not previously obtained. About Carilion
