Job Description

Position Summary:

The Vice President of Investor Relations will be responsible for developing and executing our investor relations strategy, fostering strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of the aerospace and defense industry, as well as experience in financial communications and corporate finance. This is a strategic role at Mercury Systems that will report to the CFO, with direct communication to CEO and Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities Include:



  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive investor relations strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for the investment community, including institutional investors, analysts, and shareholders
  • Communicating the company's financial performance, strategic vision, and business developments to investors and analysts through presentations, earnings calls, and meetings
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial market trends, competitor performance, and investor sentiment to provide insights to the executive team
  • Collaborating with the finance team to prepare quarterly earnings releases, annual reports, and other financial communications
  • Leading investor targeting and outreach initiatives to enhance the company's visibility and attractiveness to investors
  • Organizing and participating in investor conferences, roadshows, and other events to promote the company's investment story
  • Ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and corporate governance standards related to investor communications.


Required Qualifications and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 12+ years of experience in investor relations, finance, or corporate communications
  • Experience in a Technology driven field, including experience in the aerospace and/or defense industry
  • Proven track record of effectively communicating complex financial information to diverse audiences including Executive Leadership Teams and Board of Directors
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends
  • Experience in managing investor relations teams and developing strategic initiatives with a strong presence in the analyst community
  • Travel as needed


Preferred Experience:



  • MBA or advance degree strongly preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance



Location:

Ideally the candidate will be commutable to one of our offices below, however we will consider candidates remote in the US.
