What The Role Is

The ACH Specialist II possesses detailed knowledge of all aspects of Cadence Bank's ACH processing activities (systems, procedures, etc.). Provides assistance to customers, bank employees and the ACH Operations Manager. Has prior ACH Operations experience, and is well versed in critical timeframes and processes relating to ACH item processing.

How You will Make an Impact



  • Assist internal employees and customers with ACH questions via email and phone
  • Setup/Edit ACH warehouse access for internal departments
  • Process ACH return requests
  • Manage and work various daily and monthly reports
  • Assist with ACH research requests
  • Process transactional tickets needed
  • Research outstanding transactions on all ACH General Ledger accounts
  • Setup and maintenance of Federal Reserve EDI reports
  • Setup and maintenance of ACH filters and blocks
  • Answer phone calls received into the ACH Operations department
  • Supply reporting information on transactional activity
  • Remain up-to-date and comply with NACHA Rules and Regulations


Who You Are



  • Ability to build strong partnerships with teammates and other departments
  • Good computer skills, proficient in Excel and Google
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Excellent work ethic with a strong ability to multitask
  • Proactive in problem solving and responding to internal and external requests
  • Knowledge of general ACH processing concepts
  • Knowledge of PEP+ software preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of banking experience required
  • Minimum 2+ years prior ACH Operations experience required
  • Ability to be able to adapt to change, work in a fast paced, detail oriented environment
  • Knowledge of Cadence Bank systems, desired
  • Develop a continuous program of self-education and improvement
  • Abide by the policies and procedures approved by the Bank
  • Works cooperatively with others.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
