Visit group.springernature.com and follow @SpringerNature / @SpringerNatureGroup About the Role: The AdOps Audience and Campaign specialist is part of a team responsible for campaign consultation, monitoring and optimisation of the delivery and performance of digital ad campaigns, offering strategic and consultative advice to account managers. This is a critical role to maximise performance and deliver exceptional results to our clients whilst assisting the sales team with targeting advice and creation of audience/behavioural segments and contextual/keyword targeting across our platforms. Responsibilities:
Play a key role in campaign planning by advising on best practices, audience targeting strategies and utilise contextual/behavioural systems to identify relevant targeting segments. Take ownership of campaigns post launch, ensuring they are delivering as planned and optimising them to meet their performance goals. Curating contextual keyword-based campaigns and audience segments for clients and internal stakeholders to align with strategic goals. Monitor e-blast and newsletter deployment to ensure launch/deployment dates are met and assets are delivered, and the correct audiences are reached. Assist in preparing performance reports and presentations that outline the steps taken to address delivery issues and enhance performance. Work with key advertising stakeholders - Advertising Product managers, Development teams, Commercial marketing on with new and existing projects, helping to integrate new platforms, processes, and tools. Develop and grow our audience segmentation offering, working with stakeholders to define emerging topics, research direction and aligning with SN's approach to research and scientific progress. Share insights, best practices, and lessons learned with commercial colleagues to encourage knowledge sharing within the department. Build a comprehensive knowledge of targeting technology, to assist in sales and client decision making, providing expert knowledge and creative approaches.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
2+ years experience in digital marketing/ digital campaign management/ ad operations and good understanding of optimisation techniques. Or Digital Marketing, Business or Science Degree/Masters Self-motivated, quick thinker, with excellent communication skills. Creative problem solving skills Experience of pre-sales, or developing compelling sales propositions, preferably involving the use of contextual and behavioural 1st party data Broad understanding of the full scope of advertising/marketing communications (prospecting, retargeting, promotions, etc.) Experience of using commercial advertising server systems e.g. GAM and an email service provider Data management platform and knowledgeable in various display targeting methods - behavioural/ contextual Experience using data visualisation or analytics platforms. (Google Analytics, powerBI/looker studio) Organised and able to prioritise work, demonstrating close attention to detail.

US Annualized Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000. The salary offer may vary based on work experience, education, skill level and equity. The US salary range does not align with the salary ranges in other countries when converted to the currency of that country.
