Responsibilities

Housekeeper - PRN

Turning Point Care Center has an opening for a PRN Housekeeper. The Housekeeper cleans, sanitizes, and maintains the appearance of our facilities in Moultrie, GA. Responsibilities include:

  • cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, and offices while ensuring that proper infection control and safety procedures are followed.
  • changing patient bed linens, removing trash, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting in all assigned areas.
  • completing inventories, restocking, and replenishing supplies such as toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap, and hand sanitizer.

PRN (as-needed, not regular/guaranteed hours) Housekeepers cover periodic absences and allow for greater flexibility in meeting varying workloads. Shifts may be scheduled or available if unexpected absences occur.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants meet the following requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, and handling of materials.
  • Must have effective communication skills.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend labels, instructions, and manuals.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is an essential job function; reliable transportation is required.
  • The position works on an as-needed basis and could be scheduled to work weekends and holidays.
