Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or field, or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree. Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position As a Technical Writing Specialist (Sr Tech Writing Spec) at GDMS, you will collaborate in a team environment to create and validate technical documentation for our Navy customers and sailors. Given our focus on defense and national security, accurate and clear documentation is essential for ensuring front-line decision makers have the best tools and information about our systems. Your mission is to produce exceptionally well-written and presented materials, and to develop the infrastructure and tools needed to create and maintain this documentation across our product range. Your responsibilities will include creating technical procedures, user guides, release notes, troubleshooting guides, and descriptive documentation. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams throughout all phases of product development, including design, development, testing, and operation. Your goal is to ensure that our customers have access to the right documentation at every stage. WHAT SETS YOU APART:

Target salary range: USD $72,500.00/Yr. - USD $80,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
