About The Role
Summary The Consumer Loan Officer originates a high volume of consumer loans and manages the entire loan origination process. Underwrites loans, analyzes financials, and has strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Provides support to the Consumer Loan Manager on loan functions from start to finish throughout the process. This role will have extensive contact with customers, vendors, the public, and bank staff and will interact in a professional and courteous manner and conduct him/herself in such a relationship in a manner that will enhance the overall efficiency and image of the bank. The starting compensation pay for this position is $33.68 to $37.42 per hour. All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work performed in an office environment. Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
