From your PASSION to ours

The Business Process Analyst is a key position within LUSA Transformation Management Office, responsible for analyzing current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. The Business Process Analyst must understand how to apply Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) practices and techniques, and help others embrace its principles as they are responsible for facilitating the capture and management of process diagrams and related business process requirements to drive process optimization. This role is responsible for ensuring BPM (Business Process Management) governance strategies and methodologies are followed.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

Process Analysis and Design:

  • Responsible for analysis and evaluation of user business problems and development of system recommendations to meet requirements.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of existing business processes using tools for process mapping, flowcharts, and process modeling.
  • Facilitates and captures process requirements during modeling and design sessions, translates them into actionable requirements and eventually into working process diagrams and process models
  • Design new processes or modify existing ones to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and adaptability.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with various stakeholders, including management, employees, and external partners, to gather requirements and insights.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss process changes and gather feedback.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Translates high-level business requirements into functional specifications for business application development
  • Document business processes, requirements, and specifications in detail. Create comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation for reference and compliance purposes.

Implementation Support:

  • Gap Analysis - work with BPOs to identify and articulate gaps between business processes and SAP baseline configuration
  • Support the implementation of new processes by providing guidance, training, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure successful integration of new processes and systems.
  • Drives process optimization, recommends changes, and evaluates change requests from the business.

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Define data requirements and support data collection for business operations and processes.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Data Cleansing - work with Data Engineer, Master Data Analysts and Business Process Owners (BPOs) on Data cleansing and mapping data from source to target database data structure.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques to inform decision-making.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4+ years' experience in an analytical role in finance, accounting, supply chain management, procurement, or business management.
  • Strong business analysis background
  • Experience developing process maps, use cases, business justifications and business rules is essential.
  • Business Analytics, Business Process Mapping and documentation experience required
  • SAP implementation experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma process improvement tools and techniques
  • Ability to travel 50% domestically.
